Are you able to describe who you are and what you do?
Hey there! My name is Adrian and I am 24 years and love to work on corporate identity projects for business here in Romania. At the age of 16 years I found the wonders of Photoshop and got mesmerized by its capabilities, on the way coreldraw and then ilustrator came in hand and managed to develop my work very much. In the first years I`ve done small projects (personal, school e.g. use) and now working for clients who wants to be more visible from the adversary market.[divider_top]
How would you describe your portfolio?
Well…. My portfolio is a mixture of projects carried out for various clients, from graphic identity for corporations to simple graphic works for various people (works like, books, ID cards, wedding invitation and so on). In the meanwhile I observed that clients, more often, wants to have a mainstream design, sometimes, neglecting there company values and best features for their clients, so I`m not happy, personally, with all the projects.[divider_top]
When did you first decide you wanted to pursue a creative career?
I don’t think there were such a point in my life, just done this from the first moment I found photoshop, even tough I never finished an art school (but planning to do).[divider_top]
What is your favourite medium to work in?
I like to work in a personal office because I`m more concentrated. At home there are to many temptations, food, TV, girlfriend[divider_top]
How did you get to where you are today?
Learning and practicing all the time with tutorials and own techniques and at least but most important good communication with all clients.[divider_top]
What is the biggest challenge you have found, being in the creative industry?
From my experience, in my field, I have to make sure that the printed materials are same as in the digital presentation, so communicating and working with the offset printing guy is a most.[divider_top]
What inspires you?
Nature is the best inspiring place to look at, from animals to geological construction, even tough there are no straight lines. The diversity of nature is so wide that there are virtually no limits. I am also inspired by Constantin Brancusi sculpture works, it is just awesome! And non the less, people`s stories of they’re life, happiness and sorrow and so many feelings that makes you a creative bomb.[divider_top]
Do you have an all time favourite piece of work you have created?
Even tough I like the photoshops features i tilt more to works made in shape software’s (corel / ilustrator), for example my new work prepared for a contest in Romania for a local airport (just a quick preview in the uploads)[divider_top]
If you could give some advice to aspiring creative minds, what would it be?
I would suggest to start a design from your art perspective and develop it on the way until its unique![divider_top]
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you for the interview opportunity!
